If you have any specific requirements, such as wiring preferences or special considerations, please communicate to your Account Executive team before the appointment. This will help us prepare and ensure a smooth installation experience.
Site Survey
Our technician may conduct a site survey before the installation appointment to assess the best routing and location for the fiber optic cables. During this visit, they will discuss the installation process, answer any questions you may have, and determine the optimal placement for equipment.
Clear Access Pathways
Ensure clear access to the areas where the fiber optic cables will be installed. Remove any obstacles or furniture that could impede the installation process. This will help our technicians work efficiently and minimize any potential delays.
Equipment Location
Decide on the preferred location for the equipment, such as the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) or modem/router. Consider proximity to power outlets and accessibility for future maintenance or troubleshooting.
Coordinate Access
If your installation requires access to an access-controlled building or community, apartment complex, or any other restricted access area, please make the necessary arrangements to grant access to our technician. This will help avoid any delays on the day of the installation.
Power Availability
Ensure that power outlets are readily available near the equipment installation location. This will allow for prompt and convenient device setup.
Plan for Downtime
Depending on your existing internet service, there may be a brief downtime during the installation process. We recommend informing any colleagues who rely on the Internet for critical tasks and planning accordingly.
