This guide is designed to teach you how to navigate the User Portal, a web interface that allows you to access and control your account.
Accessing the User Portal
The User Portal is a web interface that you use to manage your account, that allows you to easily communicate with others and manage your account settings.
Accessing your Applications
In the top righthand corner of the User Portal, you will be able to access your applications, including the Attendant Console, Softphone, and Video Conferencing by clicking on the Apps dropdown menu as shown below.
Answering Rules
Answering Rules are how you control what devices ring, how long those devices ring for when receiving a call.
Attendant Console
The Attendant Console allows you to park a call with either Dynamic or Static Call Parking.
Call History
The Call History icon will take you to the Call History page where you will see the calls made to and from your account for the specified date range.
Contacts
The Contacts icon is where you will be able to see all the users who are listed in the directory. If you do not see a user listed in the contacts, they have disabled “List in Directory”.
Managing Your Messages
The Messages icon is where all of your voicemails, chat messages, and account setting for voicemail options are stored.
Navigating the Homepage
Once you log into the portal, you will have access to the platform. The Home Page gives you an at-a-glance review of everything going on with your extension.
Phones
The Phone icon in the menu bar will take you to your phones center where all of the registered devices on your account are listed.
SMS
SMS Messaging on the Smart City Voice portal allows messages to be sent to and from mobile devices.
Time Frames
Time Frames are a set period of time which covers when you want certain events to occur, such as your phone to ring.
